Get rid of that sh!tface, I started with a great FM, had her for 7 months, i recall one time i had hilited to Florida to visit parents and suddenly needed to be in Ohio next week. Even though you can't hilite before 7 days after your previous hilite she managed to take me to Ohio. She worked her magic and got me preplanned for 3 loads in a row and preplanned home, got home on the day i asked. Then I decided to team and got this guy who is in charge of teams, an all team FM, he wasnt particularly the micromanage, obsessed teenage girlfriend call you every morning type, he is just never there. He was either always on vacation, day off, sick or just away from desk, and when he finally decided to do his job he would just not be helpful at all. I got to the point i would wait to call operations until he was gone, but night/weekend dispatch only has the power to ask your truck number so i got my old FM back.
Oh, and forget about MPG or speed, just protect your license, deliver on time and try to make as much money as you can. -
Yes he was one of the best ones I have ever had, but all others were just as good too. I feel a lot come who the trainers are. Yes I had had some not so well ones too. But if I took the extra time to show them the right way most would learn. Seems some ( not all ) are in it for the money not the exp to help that person or build this company back to what is was before Conway took over. I do feel safety has got a lil lax on the hireling prosses but come on guy and gales. We as a company need to stick together. I remember back in the day we would help one another. Had our own cb channel grill out watch each others backs. Now most just wanta look the other way. I have seen a ton of changes over the years here and I know it can be frustrating, but understand that we still need to work together and make things better, safer, and enjoyable to call this home again. Of we keep looking the other way nothing will change and we will end up like the others in a high numbers and the laughing stock of companies like some we all know. I love it here and feel proud to call Conway home. Would like to see others feel the same again. Be safe everyone.
TruckerPete1990 and Getstepn Thank this. -
Keep the heads up don't let em get to you. Go above there heads.. always talk in a professional manner to them so that don't hurt you. My dispatch is pretty cool don't even hear from him. Love it like that. Although it gets lonely drivin all weekend and no qc msg. Makes me wanna send em a msg be like hey how are you lol
-
Weekends MSG's covered the Conway Buisness topic of-Canning; time consuming but worth it, You decide. In the end dispatch won and I will try it with my pasta sauce I make next time home.

Sounds like the real issue is with you, not your FM. Did you ever think that if you followed company policy/rules than maybe your FM wouldn't have a reason to write up anything in your performance? Seems like you're not taking any responsibility for abusing your time off.wowo6057 and mustang970 Thank this.
-
Not abusing time off. Taking the days I have earned. You obviously don't know about the ####### fm I have. Just fired him today.
-
No reason to be upset, just trying to help out. By the way, you can't "fire" a FM, all you can do is request a new one. No big deal, nothing happens to the previous FM.
-
Im not upset. Your speaking your opinion. Without knowing facts. I can fire him . If i don't run for him anymore hes fired from my perspective. He should be fired from the company for being disrespectful.

anyone know if CWTL is hiring way out west? Looking for a nice change, and dont mind OTR, maybe regional.
