It would be moved by line haul drivers but it would be broke a few times more likely. The odds of them haveing a whole pup full of freight going from dallas, tx to whogivesashetconnecticut arent very good.

Sure it is a line haul thing. BUT, it is going to be handled many times in route. Unless you have a whole trailer load going somewhere. And sometimes, even those have to be reloaded.
Go back and read post 2, by AT. That is the way it works, and not just for UPS, but for all the LTL outfits. -
When my wife and I were first married we had wedding gifts sent to our home by UPS, one day a UPS driver for some reason hid it in the trash can by the house. Yep you guessed it, it was trash day!

Back to the old saying, "you can't fix stupid." I suppose he was "hiding it from potential thieves?"
Did you ever get any (monetary) satisfaction out of the situation?

Without looking at the other comments...they won't apply to me.
I'll tell you how my UPS packages get to me.
Day One...the order.
Day 7-15.... My neighbor brings the package to the house, after finding it left on his porch.
Why 7-15 ? If my neighbor is out of town on vacation....it can delay the delivery of the package by a week or more.RedRover Thanks this. -
Yes we were compensated, the package contained crystal wine glasses with gold rim. I agree he was probably trying to hide it from thief's.
Big Don Thanks this.
