Mercer is very fair with their rates even to their brokered carriers. We haul for them usually a couple of times a month. We usually never have any issues with them. It is pretty cut and dry for the most part. They usually have the rates where they need to be especiallly on northeast freight. If you see a Mercer load that you could use and you call on it, you can count on them having the money pretty close to what is needed.

Only Mercer drivers and their company cutting rates on us. My domicile agent shows me the DROs out of Anniston A.D. and Mercer is always lower. Sometimes by a good bit.

Just remember that goes both ways, not sure which one of your agents was bidding/low balling freight out of a shipper whom will remain nameless out of Iowa, but they were cutting rates like a bunch of starved JB drivers.
