Congrats man! Its great when you can find a good gig to start right off the bat. Drive safe out there and make sure to learn all your winter driving techniques while you are with your trainer, including hands on when practicing throwing chains. You will be very grateful to have mastered this skill before you actually have to do it in the real world on the side of a road in a blizzard!

Wow i live near scranton pa ,where exactly is it? -
Well my son goes to orientation in Laredo TX ,( Swift ) next Tuesday . And I asked and was ok'd to go and watch/learn how to do all the paper work and learn all about the company also ! ( Not drive ) , Our thinking ( with ok from the company ) is that when he gets over the otr training , He is going to lease and I'll go to work for him.

Dont do the lease unless you can stay on the road and take NO home time.
