    Is anyone sick of these brokers with this cheap freight? We get call after call from these brokers with these pi** poor rates. Who is hauling this crap and whomever it is should go out of business. Fuel is over $4/gallon in most places and these brokers want you to move freight at $2.00/mile. Its total BS. Everyone needs to stand their ground and get their rates up. Another thing that totally urks me is customers giving the freight to the brokers, when they should be giving it to the trucks. Why would anyone want to give the freight to a broker if they have a trucking company that will haul it at the same rate. And the trucking company is doing all the legwork. Dont get me wrong, we have a small brokerage. But, we are very fair to our trucking companys who load for us. Everyone needs to start standing their ground.

    this is so true eveeyone should look for a load, only for a good rate. i understand people that need to backhaul but thats a different story. even if it means you have to wait a day to find a good load, never take a load for a low rate because then the brookers stick to that rate and never go up. Rates used to be really high back in 2004 or so. If we dont stop they are just going to get lower. For example going from indianapolis,IN to Livonia,Mi which is about 250 miles should be 1000$. But Brookers like Cheap and heavy and TQl offer only about 600$ thats 400$ cheaper, whats a person going to save, when gas is just going higher. Thanks For posting this and i hope people understand this.

    Brokers can sometimes work out better than the parent companies....Better service, & Pay...
