Im getting ready to leave my hotel in Indianapolis, IN. to head up to Marshfield for RDTC training starting tomorrow. I only saw 5 Roehl trucks in my travel from Richmond, VA. along I64, most of them after I passed Charleston, WV. I am guessing I will start seeing alot more once I get up towards Gary and heading on up to Marshfield. Looking forward to getting things going tomorrow! I have to go to the Gary terminal for securement training at the end of the RDTC training....just out of curisosity where do they have you stay during securement training in Gary?

 

M-F on I-65 you'll see Roehl flatbeds like crazy between Indy and Chicago During securement training if you don't have a truck you will be staying at the Inn of Hammond, exit 2 on I-80. Not the Ritz but its ok.

 

I haven't seen a Roehl truck in 2 days. Either there are no Drivers in this area or they are all running 88 and 86 instead of the Thruway like myself.

 

Hey there wistrucker...I am in the same boat as you. I have my CDL, but I drove otr back in 08 untill that company went out of business. After that I only drove a bob-tail propane truck for 3 years. So now I have to go through the school again. Looking forward to it though. I start October 8th down in Marshfield. I am going to do flatbed this time, I pulled a 53' van at my last job, so I figured what the heck Ill give it a try. Good luck maybe Ill run into you some time down the road
