now why don't I get to see that ####?!?!?!?! lol I understand about you're situation.....got a really bad absessed(?) tooth and had to make an emergency appointment with the dentist to get it pulled for tomorrow morning. DM puts me on a load on Fri due by Tues. 0815 in NJ...I told them to keep me out until Sun...and when that load came up....TRIED to explain I was going in for dental surgery on Mon and I would more than likely be on pain pills. I'm NOT driving on those! That's REALLY STUPID and DUMB! Well, they said get your surgery done and then just run....I'm not taking you off this load. So, I get in Sat. morning and explained my situation...they took me off and put me on the Grand Rapids run! YEAY! Something different....the funny thing is one guy in dispatch said, why can't he finish this...the other guy said, "He'll be on drugs!" lol LOVED that response! lmao but, it was the truth...at least I'm being safe about it. A rear moler is not FUN being pulled out and having a root canal done! But, our insurance is THE BOMB and paying only 20% is great! Well, I due owe a little more than that with the RC but....I can't complain I'll be in better health! Show me your boobies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

hehehehe at least one of us didn't fall into the facebook trap lol...sorry.....

that grand rapids trip is a good one....you can make it up to the pilot on US23 at the 5 in ottowa lake comfortably and break thereit's big and usually pretty easy to get a spot....there are a couple others on up but they're small and no gaurantees on parking.....then it's an easy 3hrs to the cons.....quick unload once you're in the door and then you can either park on the yard on on the street until you get the load out....which most likely will be over into illionois on the west side of chicago....every time i've been up except once they ran me there to load coming back....good miles up and good miles back....hopefully they won't send you up north of muskegon to load the cherries.....pain in the ### enclosed dock to get into and have to pull into the street and block traffic on the 2 lane to back into the dock...... that one goes to food lion in greencastle....you won't like the wait there....

i'll be in court dealing with a moron in the AM and then hopefully something good out and they'll run me hard since i'm going to run through the weekend

another thing about that grand rapids run....the route suggestion and gps will try to send you down 96 to 131 to exit 83 i think it is....don't do it....you won't like the downhill hairpin 90 to 180 to 90 to the bottom of the hill to the light to get to the cons.....follow the customer directions instead getting off on MI6 to 196 to exit 72 i think it is chicago ave.....the follow to where it bears left and the you make a left at the light at hall instead of having to come down and around that hill....in the dark lol

10-4 bud...will do! And I only use Facebook to keep up with friends/family! Hope you kick some ### in court...which I know you'll do. I'm thinking about staying out for about 2 weeks figured....after 243 bucks worth of losing a tooth I need to make up for it somehow...although the Viccodine sure is nice, right now....can't take that with me.....but Tylenol will do the trick. ;) Be good and yap at ya this week!

    Newtrucker83 Thanks this.

so I am staying out for 2 weeks....now I'm getting short miles!!! WTF?!!??!?!I did ask to be routed through G'boro to at least, stop in and say hello to my little guy.....but they are getting me back to Greensboro tomorrow on a beer run, or course. I'm in Norfolk...and you are guaranteed a beer run if anywhere near Williamsburg! haha so, I'll restock for the following week...hate to hafta break so early...220 for the day but...I'll break for a few hours and start running! Just wondering, is it after 6 months you can sign on to 401k? And when is the enrollment months....gotta get signed on and now that I've made it past 6 months, ready to start investing! Hope everyone is having a safe week. Oh yeah, some idiot at the TA on 81 at exit 77 in PA hit my passenger mirror and "hairline" cracked it in 3 places. I was in the country pride eating dinner, figured I'd get out and eat, for a change...and then come back to find mirror pushed in. Figured, WTH? pushed it back out and saw the cracks....went out and looked at the other side and, yep, they hit it.....but not the truck. It's funny how there wasn't a truck next to me....guess he either went across the street or parked somewhere else because my curtains weren't closed, so I know he could see inside and nobody was there.

might wanna be careful around the newbs there! haha Well I got around 2800 for the week and will have around 11 hours left on my 70 when I reach final tomorrow. Guess It'll be a short day...but I have almost a consistent 10 hours coming back each day...so if DM LISTENS TO ME, like they think they know better, then I'll be rolling all week without a restart and can get back around Saturday and then have my 2 days off. I know some of you on here have the same DM as me, but I don't understand why all the "button pushing"? For example, when I started I was told if I was out for 2 weeks and left on a Mon. I would be back the following Thurs. and have Fri., Sat. off then back out Sun. NOW, I was told I'd go home for a STRAIGHT 34 THEN back out! BS! I CAUGHT them and told them EXACTLY what they FIRST SAID! Don't know how to deal with this...but I LOVE this company and really LIKE my DM...but, I'M NOT A FREAKIN' MORON! DON'T LIE TO ME! okay, enough venting...off to bed! lol

Trucks are 09 (being traded daily) or newer freightliners (90%) volvos and few international left. No apus but a fairly reasonable idle policy. Training time is 6 weeks, all of our trainers do a good job. Quaillcom is mostly a windows base touch screen deal (think tablet) on newest verson. Quaill is not hard to learn. We have about 4 versions, I just tought my father how to work each (at 77 years old) . Yes he's working with us! Part time otr is great for someone retired. And preplan, about half the time you will get a preplan so you know whats next. Usually less than 30 min you have your next dispatch. Hope this helped. Pm me if I can help.best of luck.
