I just had a bad situation with a farmer in Missouri.....he tried to steal the drivers several times, he would meet the drivers on their routes and pay them NEVER paying the Brokers Rate....Always lying saying he is going to pay you Friday, making a half payment never really paying the balance off.....Once I got all the drivers off of his routes he still will not pay the $1722.00 he promises he sent it on Tuesday, oh he sent it on Thursday on let me call my bank because they made the transfer on Friday.......stay away from C&A Farms he is a horrible person......![]()

If you have something in writing, go to small claims court. Or file a lien against his business.

You can file a lien against his company if you have documented proof. Call him AND send him a certified/registered letter demanding payment for services rendered. Inform him if payment isn't rendered in 30 days you are filing a lien against his company.MSTEECEE Thanks this.

There is no small claims court in Missouri. Contact The State Attorney General's office.

Here are a few things to look at, if all parties had a written agreement then you have a potential claim to funds owed. But unless all parties had a written agreement for each specified haul then you will be wasting time and effort in any attempts to recover funds.
