I live in South Florida and employed by TransAm out of school and starting at 30 cents a mile

I laughed at schools job postings .30 cents loaded .15 cents empty and this is with 2yrs experience. Then I look at Chicago and Phoenix for example at .40 cents plus.

there is a back road i was driving from georgia to I-10. at the state line there is a building. i'm guessing it was once a church. basically it was just a one room building. but there's a wooden frame with glass and a recent postings of the flordia labor laws and wages.
the postings were dated january 6, 2012. the wages for dump trucks were around $9. $15 if you pull oversized.
haven't looked lately to see what utah is offering. but i know it's no where near what it was when i first became local 12 years ago.
gotta love the economy.
