Now I get to deadhead up to Portland tomorrow to start my tah. Only 80 miles from the OC but I've got 4 minutes left on my 70 so I'll have to wait until I pick up 11 hours tomorrow.

 

Not the best place, but better than the hotel the trucking school put up the students in St. Louis.... Drugs, Prostitution, Illegals......

I'm currently at the Settle Inn "extended stay" in Green Bay... Last week was my week two "on the road with TE" week... Week before I was in the "pool and hot tub" Settle Inn........ Nice place, ok food...

I'll be going to Edwardsville the week of October 8th......

 

So I have a question since most of you are new drivers. What TV are you using? And how is it mounted? If u have one.

Went to pick up a relay at the W. Memphis OC, work assignment said load was going to Shepardsville, KY. Hook up to the trailer, grab the paperwork, and the BOL says delivery is in Indianapolis.

Call dispatch, after 20 mins of hold while they call CS, they pull me off the load because, in their words "we have no clue where it is going" LMAO, WTF?

Got another load but doesn't pick up till tomorrow then off to SC.

 

I'll have to post my TV setup later, can't get pictures to work from my phone.

 

My tv set up is my laptop, which I set on that pull out desk while I'm using it.

 

Well, I'm all set just need a truck now! I think eight of us finished orientation (assigned to the Charlotte OC) on Friday and only one of us had a truck and that one was in the shop LOL DBL said mine was on the road so hoping its ready Monday.

 

We were told Friday all the trucks will be getting them installed. The temperature range for no idle will be 20-60 so with the bunk heaters I don't see an issue with this. They also said that there working on away so if you have to idle at the temp for some reason it won't count towards your idle percentage.

 

So, to make this worse, I got here at 1600 like I was supposed to, and the load won't be ready until at least 8pm... if I'm lucky.

 

Latest message was they where working on a idle solution and a new bonus program in 2013 life is going to suck dick at SNI next year
