Central Refrigerated Truck Stop II

Electric shaver or razor blades? I am wondering if we stop enough to use a razor blade or, if their are enough outlets in the truck to charge my electric shaver?

 

You should be stopping every night and you can go in to the truck stop bathroom in the morning before you roll out and take care of hygiene.

 

Do they have outlets in the bathroom for electric razors?

 

Most of them do. I know the showers do. Make sure you get rewards cards to earn showers. Fuel up, get a free shower.

 

I am assuming I won't get any rewards while with a trainer?

 

No, but get the cards anyway. You WILL want them. And when you are with a trainer, he should be able to tell the clerk he has a trainee on the truck and you will get a shower. If you purchase ANYTHING at the truck stop, give them your card, every purchase ads something, just not as much as fueling does.

 

Trainer pays for all the fuel so they tend to get cranky if you take their rewards... Found out the hard way, lol

 

your trainer makes a lot of money off you, and while he pays for the fuel, you turn it in to profit. I used my trainer's reward cards until the last week, after that he had me use my own. When I got my own truck I already had a couple showers saved up, so I didn't have to wait to fuel. That's the way it should be.

 

I never took my trainer rewards...but yeah I can imagine. My trainers would just go up to the desk and turn in his shower and say he had a trainee and they would give me a shower too.

 

That's what I was thinking when he freaked out, but I learned a lot from the grumpy old dude so I just apologized and shrugged it off.
