PDI tune saved me about .7-.9 mpg. Well worth the price not to mention how much better it runs. I would not own a ACERT without it

Chris50,what year is your C15. I have a NXS and have been thinking about the Haney tune. I've talked with him but haven't done anything yet. Also how far did you go with it. Thanks

And then get in the granny lane with all the other slow poke company trucks. Why not keep the Cat spend a few bucks and have a truck that will get as good or better mileage than a Detriot and actually pull a hill like it knows what its doing. My time is important to me.
I've owned a Detriot that I thought run good. I would not go back to that old dog if you paid me.

Its a cheap 150 ohm resistor that you can buy at radio shack. You find the fuel temp sensor which is located near the hand pump for priming the fuel system. Unplug the sensor and fold the wires up on the resistor and place into the plug then tape it up. Its good for about 25 hp on a cool day. A hot day when the fuel is hot not much of a change. Cost you about 5 bucks including the price of the tape. Or you can get on ebay and buy one for about a 150 bucks. either way it does the same thing.

    sparkey800 Thanks this.

Which wire do you put the resistor on? I found what I think is the fuel sensor plug on where you discribed. Mine has a red wire and a yellow wire going into the same plug.
