As many others have stated, BE HONEST, LIST THE JOB. If asked why he didn't list it initially, then he will have to explain. You didn't really explain why he left the job off his 10yr history. As I have stated on some of your other inquiries, trucking does not seem to be a good career choice for your fiancee.

If your looking for someone here to say that omitting the truth (AKA lying) is ok then this isn't the place. Most of the people here are honest. Plain and simple he has two options that's either to tell the truth or lie. As I say honesty doesn't always pay, but dishonesty always costs. Not telling the truth almost always comes back rip you new behind. You should be encouraging him to be honest and not trying to help him sugar coat/hide the truth.

He can actually be punished by the FMCSA for lying on an application. They don't fool around in trucking when it comes to finding one's trucking skeletons. Back in the old days a driver would get in trouble and hide it by going to another state and getting another CDL. This is the whole purpose of the 10 year background check is to prevent drivers hiding trouble.

Always be honest when it comes to your trucking job and livelihood!!

I think he's going to be honest with it I told him to I don't want to sugar coat anything I just don't want him to loose his job BC we really like this company and want to keep it it wouldn't matter if they knew abt the previous company I'm just worried that BC he didn't write it in the ten yr work history that it will hurt him but it was all half done before the company and half done after idk anyway in just praying for the best out of this this is a company he's tried getting in with for a long time

HE HAS NO OPTION!!! If he fails to write it down he is violating the Federal Regulation and the company he is lying too could also be fined.. If your boyfriend screwed up stop covering for him and realize that he has NO option here! GADS!!
