thats per 1 week, and not sure why your hubby got more but now jbs pays .30 for 1st year and .33 after you get your first year.
I do alright money wise but i would much rather be home more often or make the same with less headaches then what jbs gives me. Now i got my year in Im looking now for a new job and ill do whatever flatbed or tanker anything i can find where i get home more and make decent money. My goal is 3k a month which i believe i can do and or should do.

I think she was thinking that was the 2 week gross that we use to get. 3K is a high number to be living in Florida. Hope you find what you are looking for. May want to check out the fuel companies. Just be careful with the myth that all these companies are just waiting for you to have a year experience. Then here comes the big bucks. I doubt if you see much change from what you are getting now and if you want home more probably even less. I know those wal mart dc's are always hiring down there. Think Swift has the contract now, but I did hear they work you silly.

Cypress equips their trucks with a APUs so that's always a plus especially in the south.. have you thought about Davis Express in Starke? SE regional and hone every 7-10 days. Always new and clean equipment with APUs as well

Try Barnes Trucking out of S.C.
They have a really good reputation and are pretty close to you.
Epes in NC is also a pretty reputable company.

    UPDATE...................

Well, gotta be careful when you go to work for an owner with one old truck, truck broke down and he didn't have the money to fix it!.........But I was lucky and found a job working for a local steel company, they make rebar cages and such and I deliver them to jobsites locally. They have 3 trucks and I am the only driver! Monday thru Friday and I get paid by the hour! Driving a day cab with a flatbed! tampa 010.jpg tampa 011.jpg tampa 013.jpg tampa 014.jpg
