Just checking to see if anybody been through this program, been looking at schools near me and this about the closest.. After working 23 yrs. in a mill in North Ga. was just layed off and wanting to get plan ready for when I can get some retraining funding from WIA or TAA.. Any imput would be appreciated..Have Epes and Millis as two top choices, even though I just need permit to start with Millis would like to get the CDL if funding will do it.. Another thing to is this school isn't on Epes list of approved schools . So that would'nt help me with getting on with them..So next on the list would be Roehl, would be good to have it already took care of and that much less to get through..Thanks..

I believe that you are referring to Northwestern Georgia Tech. There is also Chattanooga State just across the border in Tennessee and a private school in Tunnel Hill, GA. I believe the school is called Great Southern? You may want to check with all of them. The state schools will be much less expensive. I know that Chattanooga State has a good school. I don't know anyone who has been through the one at Northwestern, but they should also have a good program.

Yea that was what I was shooting for.. kinda make the process a little smoother.. trying to research and get it all worked out as to where to go to school..and if it doesn't work out, well could always go with company sponsored..
