Not all of the syscos are union, Boston is not union. Tho if it was, it probably wouldn't be as bad. Actually no position with sysco is good. Boston s ucks, and they don't give a crap about their employees. They take take and take away from us and expect us to work more.and.more with.less. when we are well past our way of being a billion dollar a.year sysco house. Plus I would eventually like to own a truck and do my own thing someday

I used to LOVE delivering to Sysco Boston. Talked to quite a few employees there, they said they loved it. Not that good, huh?
BTW, you guys had the best cafeteria up front there. Deliver at 6am, park it, and run over to the cafeteria to gorge myself.

Tanker /Hazmat is very good for OTR and you won't take a pay cut. Many good companies to pick from all over the USA plus the oilfields. Some run teams if you want.
djk1259 Thanks this. -
Well its Sysco has gotten a lot worse since we have moved into the new warehouse in plympton, I have been with the company for over 5 years and driving for almost a year, im lucky that they have trained me to get my lisence and stuff, but food delivery is getting really crappy. 19 stops 1000 cases, digging for crap all day long, and the having them route you for 14 hours everyday. leaving guys on the side of the road for hours after they run out of hours. and then want you back, 10 hours after you log off xata. even if you wait 3 hours on the side of the road and only get 5 hours home time. they are working everyone like dogs! we should go union but i doubt anything will change. we threated it before and they eased up a little but then BAM slammed the hammer down
