I've been seeing ads on job websites saying that Henderson Trucking is hiring Students, so I'm thinking about calling them up. I've tried finding info about them online, but haven't had much luck.

I guess it doesn't matter what I have to say since they're pretty much gone now, but Henderson shoved it up my ### and broke it off, in 2008.
I got into their LP program, and they ended up doing pretty much what all the mega carriers do: they ran me enough to cover truck expenses, and I sat the rest of the time.
It seems that, if you live back there, they treat you well, but if you live on the west coast, they treat you like garbage. Oh well, they did me a favor - I own my own truck now, and I work Indy - no company but my own, and I'm not committed to any one freight broker, and I work when I want, and go fishing when I want.
I also heard that Josh Kaburick died: couldn't have happened to a more deserving piece of ####, and I'd tell it to his families' faces if I had the opportunity.
The punchline: they actually had the nerve to send me postcards a few years ago, saying "We miss you"...gee - I had to have their rig impounded from my property, because they refused to pick it up (I went home with the flu, and was bed-ridden for several weeks), and threatened to have it repoed - and then they thought I'd be stupid enough o go back to them???
Really??? -
They also do dry van. Miles are ok. Just not consistant. Left them for a local gig
