Depends. Usually best method is to make it a straight back. But 45 to 45 is the easiest way. Jack knifing the truck is never the best option.

Pirate i just commented a funny statement not directed at you man. Just in general lol though you could tell your trainer thats what you are going to do if he dont help and get off his butt to train ya. Hang in there with big blue i gotta buddy thats driving for them he said the training time stinks butt you just keep thinking about your own truck and flow with the motions. Ill tell ya i still have trouble with pulling into these rest areas i get all discombobulated and look like a fool sometimes. I have been solo for 5 months and went too the same school lantern did so dont feel bad at all.

Lantern Thanks this. -
Yeah my favorite part was the driver seat. That one is ultra important. More important then said Fuel tanks... because you can't sit on fuel tanks.

Hey guys. I FINALLY finished phase 2 training at Roehl this past Thursday. It was only 2 weeks, but that was a LONG 2 weeks to live in that little box with some other guy. Otherwise, it was a really terrific learning experience. It would definitely be beneficial if phase 2 was longer, but I'm glad it's not. haha...
I live in Phoenix, but no phase 2 trainers were available here, so they flew me to Appleton a little over 2 weeks ago. I drove nearly 5,000 miles, through 15 states, making about 8 deliveries during that time. Got back to Gary, IN on Thursday and successfully tested out.
Funny... they couldn't find a truck for me in the Midwest, so flew me back home (Phoenix) last night, where there is supposedly a shiny 2012 Prostar waiting for me. I look forward to seeing her on Monday.
Glad I signed up for the national flatbed division. Good fun, interesting loads, and a good workout now and then. -
Are you ####### kidding me?
(Take that lightly, Just jealous of your truck)
