I have not worked for the Reefer side of Knight. But a good friend of mine who does out of the Phoenix Terminal tells me he is getting good miles and they are treating him well. Keep in mind he is the type of driver that lives in the truck. So home time for him is wherever he and the wife stop.

Flying J, Wytheville, VA. Drove all the way down here from Mt Crawford, VA, get to the shipper only to find out that my load had been picked up already. It turns out some moron planner in Charlotte cancelled the load off of me this afternoon and no one ever bothered to tell me.............go figure. Weekends at Knight, not just a job, its an f ing adventure.

And that my friend is one of my stories, 5 times in 2 weeks I got to the shipper, only to find out
the load had been assigned to 2 different drivers. (that's a billion $ company)

A common occurrence since on weekends a driver usually doesnt have their DM working to 'protect' them---had it happen to me many times, usually when running CA and trying to get back home to Phx!!

I know that's the way the script is supposed to read, I must have a special D.M.
Every time this has happened to me, he was working.
does that make him special, or me.???

Neither..just lucky. Means with your whole 1 yr driving experience, that your time will come.....

    The 5 yrs I was w/Knight, I averaged 3 DM's/yr.
