Really.....REALLY....hoping to see numbers like those for myself, perhaps starting this month. My new AM is doing a GREAT job so far (3 weeks), and I have no reason to believe it won't continue as long as I do my part. I'm still looking for my first month over 10k (been between 9925 and 9975 the last three months....).

I'm at -4 for safety points. Keep up the good work, man!

I was a newbie just out of school and got hired on and My husband trained me. That is unusual for the husband to train however I would call them they have great trainers and your trainer will stay with you until you are ready to be on your own.

In case anyone experiences the same thing, I found out what that weird jerking of the truck in the middle if the night was. After I pulled out of the shipper's dock with a heavy load, I went back to pull the tandems lever. I heard a bunch of air coming out. Every time the air built at all over 95, it would start exhausting like crazy. I crawled around all under the truck and fealt the air coming from the area on top of one of the air bags. The frame is right above that so I couldn't get my eyes on the exact source. I was way out in the country and it took a service truck hours to get there and then hours to get the part. Turns out the leveling valve had broken. Shoot, and I had just had a string of great loads (only after I went totally berserk on my AM).

I scrubbed my trailer tires on the curb of one of those asinine New Jersey U turn lanes and had a blow out. No bent rim, just a small cut in the sidewall, I reported it right after I did my post trip inspection. More safety points added. I don't care if it pays 11 cents a mile more, this going to NJ and Philly everyday stuff is just not worth it.

It's hard to explain to someone in Lincoln how the roads work in this part of the country.

I was supposed to have been returned back to the national fleet the day before this happened too. I could have been safely parked in some truck stop in Iowa instead of being lost in the dark in Secaucus.

Can any of you who are happy with your Asset Managers please PM me with their names? My miles have been in steady decline since mine showed up on my Qualcomm in May and I'm going to need to make a change one way or another. I've been beyond patient with her learning curve, but it's now starting to cost me a lot of money and it's looking doubtful I'll even make company goal for the year. I was having a productive year and was way ahead on miles, but she's slowly but surely chipping away at my lead. I just can't work with her ... or she just WON'T work with me. It's like every smart move I make gets countered by a dumb one by her ...

Ok so does the AM actually pick ur next load or does the computer do it based on the hours u have left etc?
Just wondering. BTW I hate Pennsylvania, im tired of being here. The animals are starting to know me by name. Plus yesterday I happen to drive in and would you know the ravens, redskins, and eagles all played at home yay me and traffic.

Your next load is determined by either the computer OR the planner. If the planner has something they want done, they can override the computer selected "best load". Day shift can deadhead you anywhere to get a load, nights and evenings can only sent you 50 miles without getting it authorized by a supervisor. My AM says she has no say in it. Planners are still area based, so different one depending on where you are.
