Finebabymkr.... thank-you, for a day or two I was thinking all I would get were "I holier than you" posts, which I DID expect, but I was also hoping for the EDUCATED responses as well, which weren't coming.:biggrin_25513: I was hoping that SOMEONE out there could give me an answer, not the "answer that I am looking for" but the actual answer for my question--"disputing the employment history" that I am wanting to dispute with "Dac- Fix" then I would NOT be lawfully obligated to HAVE to inform a prospective employer of my positive drug test. I am fully aware of the "honesty" factor involved with the application process , as I am fully aware of the speed limit, in which I admit, I sometimes disobey. So please take it with a grain of salt. Again, thanks Finebabymkr for ACTUALLY "seeing through the sun through the fog",....... much oblige.:biggrin_255:

Nice...... finally some HONEST and THOUGHTFUL posts, I was thinking I could only get the negative threads, but somebody with honest feelings speaks. Do not be scared "the truth will set you free"... I was hoping someone with some clout would speak..... Do you know if Dac-Fix would help in my situation? Arigato.:biggrin_255:

Baltimore, Maryland=Crabs=itchy, annoying, bothersome, problematic situation, unenjoyable to all in close proximity........Get the point? Probably not,............uh! You are 23 years of age, I am going to take your advice at face value.....ZILCH. This response from Finebabymkr was the 1st one that ACTUALLY saw past "positive drug test", and responded to my "QUESTION". Is your avatar like a "Black-Panther" fist,...... the one that was used in the 60's for racial equality,.... or do you know NOTHING ABOUT Black America struggles in fighting unequality, just as you know NOTHING of me. Peace out hendersncnc.:biggrin_25512:

I am just trying to find someone who can ACTUALLY answer my question, not looking for the "RIGHT" answer. I am not trying to "get around the consequences", I have completed the FMCSR "Return-to-Duty-Process" and I am merely going around the technicalities of the "employment history" that is being reported on my DAC. No more than the high priced lawyer who might get a DUI expunged off someones records so that their client could resume his employment opportunities. Why a second chance you ask?..... because I DO feel I am capable of driving a truck; which is why were here, right? Thanks for your 2 cents.:biggrin_25514:

No, I have my CDL, went to school, then tested positive at a pre-employment drug screen. I am trying to find a way to get hired at a starter co; please read my posts THOROUGHLY and you will, hopefully, understand my situation. Thanks for posting.:biggrin_25519:

My determination is unbreakable,....... reporting the failed drug test, I realize is SUPPOSE to be reported, but if I do, my chances of getting hired become next to ZERO, a.k.a. S.O.L. I am looking to find a way around disclosing my employment history with the co. that I had the positive, PRE-EMPLOYMENT, drug test at. Therefore, I can start fresh, with nobody knowing about my + drug test except for the unreportable co. and I. Like I said;.... I am FMCSR legal, concerning the "Return-to-Duty-Process" for the DOT sensitive job; SAP approved. Seriously, THANKS for the honest, un-biased, answer.:biggrin_25519:

That is "plan-B" if the "employment history" does not come off my DAC. Would you have any advice as where to advertise or where to try and get some o/o's to offer my help/co-driver capabilities with. I was thinking about taking an ad out in the local paper, calling ALL truck driving co.s in my area, or even going to the area's truck stops and asking "face-to-face". Do you have any other ideas which could help me get in touch with O/O'S? It could help them in keeping the truck moving; i.e. making more $$$, and help me get experience without going to a starter co. I HONESTLY can drive good, graduated with a 97%. If someone [O/O'S] live near Tampa Florida or anywhere semi-close, please respond. I REALLY do appreciate the GREAT advice and seeing past MY self-inflicted problem.:yes2557: Peace.

Listen the thing is when you go to a prospective employer wanting a job there are a few things you have to do in order to qualify. One of those things is to take a drug test. You knew this. In order to get hired on you have to test negative. You also knew this. There is no quick fix to your situation. You screwed up. It will stay on your dac and it should stay on your dac.

WOW....What a breath of "fresh air",........I DO FULLY understand how BAD I faulted, and I am grateful to know that if not soon, then in 1 and a 1/2 to 2 years I WILL be able to pick-up my career path of an O.T.R. driver, but I am doing eveything possible to NOT delay it. I am GRATEFUL of your wisdom to see past the mistake and to actually see the human behind the error. It is a WHOLE lot easier to criticize than to actually read and give educated advice. Apparently not too many people "cast" any, if not the first "stone",..go figure...Gracias:biggrin_25519:

I agree, .....To be challenged in life is inevitable....being defeated is OPTIONAL. Thomas Edison once said..."when you exhaust ALL possibilities, remember this: you haven't" I think its about perception and perspectives, there are no mistakes, only opportunities for redirection. If you give yourself the freedom to know that ANYTHING is possible, and you keep having faith, belief, and perserverance despite the ODDS, you will eventually arrive at the "top of the mountain". I will NEVER "give-up" and agree that to talk with "at-risk" groups would be a great idea. There are 3 types of people in this world... 1-"The mower of lawns",....2- The life-Enhancers" and 3-"The well poisoners" you seem to be in catagory-2......There are too many #3's in the world, as you can see/read for yourself. THANK-YOU for the much heeded advice.:biggrin_25519:
