Ok so train horns not extremely popular. I think it would be cool to have a train horn on a truck though.

Yes you could really screw with peoples minds especially the ones who live near abandoned rail lines.

    Air horn etiquette? Yes, always.

I always wash mine before leaving the men's room and before approaching the buffet.

    (dang...did I cross-post again???)

Speaking of air horns, are the ones sold at the petro in Joplin 44 any good? Any tips on the specs/features to look out for?

Little kids, yes I do. Adults, probably not, and I have had 1 man, a construction worker giving the big trucks the air-horn sign. I waved and shook my head (no). Don't want to startle anyone and cause an accident.

I know I'm a little weird for this, but west of Emporia on US-50, the railroad runs parallel. When there's no traffic, and a train is passing through, I'll echo his signalling. If I wasn't a company driver, I'd have a set of train horns, and use them for the a-holes that pull out in front of me. Heck add a real bright spotlight, and they'd crap themselves thinking they're turning onto the railroad tracks, or a train has jumped the tracks headed straight for them.

If I was an Ice Road Trucker, the air horns would be rigged to stay on 24/7.at least that's how it seems to be on that show.

Is there a truck route that runs directly past Augusta National? That would be fun during the Masters tournament......
