Alright, did the 6 months with a partner who is lazy and can not even pump the fuel, let alone do the macro's, so yes I want either to switch out partners or in a bit maybe train.
Some say just go it alone, I can make more money. Don't plan on staying with Werner for lots of reason, one is pay, even after the raise we split .32 cents a mile. I am fairly sure that is not right, but waiting for my year to be up. No I have no contract with them. Just asking which is the best way to go.
So, partner up, train or go it alone. Money wise is my question. Thanks. :biggrin_25525:

32 cents a mile split amongst 2?? I was making 28 cents a mile after 6 months with werner solo and getting 3000 miles a week. still low opinion. but it would be better then what you're making now. There trainers make good money but in my opinion somebody with 6 months experience has not been driving long enough to train. I have been driving a little over a year and a half and there's no way i feel capable of training somebody. I still make to many mistakes.:biggrin_25511:

I agree about the training... that is a huge.problem today, people with six months training others.

Go solo... maybe its just me, but I can not live.in the truck with another man... I like the solitude.

Been driving little over 9 months now, was talking a bit later really. The guy I am with is a guy I had in my class and was just a few weeks behind.
Yes it is .32 cents per mile split between the two so 16 per. Wondering what my options are for later and what is better than Werner. Thanks again.

Is that split for 2 drivers or single Long_Run? Thank you for your response too.

I've done the team thing & hated it. You can make real good money running solo with a reefer company.
I'll list just two to check, but, I'm not advocating either company, just giving you some ideas to start thinking about.

Navajo.com (terminal in Chino, CA) (Max out at .40 cpm-solo)
    drive4marten.com (pay solo-max out at .445 per mile)(team - max at .46 cpm)

    Arial Thanks this.
