How many days of OTR training did you get in Phase 2? Was it sufficient? It seems like Roehl has the shortest amount of time in OTR training.

It is short, maybe too short. They do a little more comprehensive training before you ever get out with a trainer than most,

That's what I've assumed. Their longer orientation/phase 1 training is a very attractive feature to me. Hopefully it brings newbies up to speed with the fundamentals. I'll just have to trust that the fact Roehl is indeed a training company is evidence that the Phase 2 training is at least adequate.

    Thanks for the comment!

I've trained 5 guys that went through the phase training and they came out of phase 1 with a really good grasp on the fundamentals. I feel like most of them could have started out from phase one and went right to work. Phase 2 is for polishing skills and also to do the job, but also have someone there if you need them.

so what's phase 1 really teaches you backing ups, maneauvering, logbook, accident report and stuff like that, because I heard it is hard they give alot of assignments i dont what is it all about really.
