40 hours later Felix setup a different load. 80 more miles and a tight delivery time. I have a 55 minute window tomorrow. Love tight runs! 1240 miles in 33 hours. Headed to Cincinnati. Anyone know where I might pickup next? Figuring it will most likely be a broker load. At least I'm not going to Texas for a change!

depending on where you live and how slow freight is you might get 4 days home, even though you only want 2

@Kaidon. Don't pay any mind to Tennessee he's no longer here and has no clue as to the recent improvements in our freight base. The company has very recently branched out into new freight lanes and things seem to be rapidly picking up.

Tennessee is not that far off Out Cast. Last home time I had, I showed available on a Monday morning. I didn't get a load until Tuesday morning, and I am out of the Denver area. Coincidentally, it was like that at May too. It is what it is. That's what's nice about being able to take the truck home. Didn't have to go all the way to Denver to only sit on Monday.

Miles for me have picked up since my mini vacation waiting on JBS Swift. Got a load back to Denver. 2490 miles in 4 days. My recap is going to suck in 4 days. Maybe I can get another reset paid for by JBS Swift? :)

Yes, Efon. I agree in the past I sat. I think we've all sat in CO waiting on loads. But now we aren't reloading everything back there anymore.I've averaged above or over 2800 miles for the last month. Hauled a load out of the yard to the midwest (new freight lane) last week. Reloaded same day. Deliver in the infamous state of TX and reloaded again the same day. It wasn't like that a month or so ago but it has REALLY picked up recently.

the trucking buisiness is just like going to the ocean ... you enter at your own risk period, there are no promises kept with any company out there, its the nature of the beast......:yes2557:
