Pretty much. Once you get in the system you can kind of bounce around indefinitely if you choose. Sometimes it works out that you'll get a load coming right back home though. It just all depends on what the inbound terminal has going on when you get there.

Trucks are a mixture of prostars and 9200's. Both with the small midroof sleepers with the eagle package. Trucks are set at 65 and we are on electronic logs.

There is a bunch of info about Superior here:

    http://www.thetruckersreport.com/truckingindustryforum/superior-carriers/

Savannah is one of the better terminals. As far as staying out when there are lots of loads they will let you stay out pretty much as long as you want. During the slow times they spread the work around and will deadhead you home to avoid layover expense. I have few complaints after 5 years there.

    If you haven't made a decision, look at A&R Transport : artransport.com

I'm with quality carriers now can,t wait to get out but alot depends on what terminal your out of. it,s alomst like different companys. there almost all affiliate terminals and if yours doesent have a good rep with others you wont get loads no central dispatch run trucks around you ect. be careful in your decision I here alot of good about trimac good luck

I'm not old enough for A&R but could anyone tell me what are some good tanker outfits near clarksville TN. that's where I will be staying. I think trimac and superior are out of my range.
