For the most part I try and keep it all legal. Only thing I'll fudge is if I'm an hour or two from the house and run out of time. I'm not taking a 10 hour 60-100 miles from the house. I'm going home. Other than that I always try and stay legit.

Well lets just say I do my best to log legal......
My fuel stops are always 100% on the money but just as everybody else listed they may fudge a little here and there I do as well...

I still find the current HOR to be unsafe for all drivers.....

I as well didn't vote because I really didn't find one that fits me...

We were expected to drive illegally and log it legal. They knew it and we knew it. The logs were just written to approximate what we did every day but stay legal. It's a well-known fact around here that NO ONE runs legal or you make no money. Not around here. It's sad but it's true.

    Story:

    Manager: Never run illegal ever.

Driver is out of hours. Dispatcher begs driver to take "one last load". Driver says no. Dispatcher begs and pleads. Driver does it.

Manager chews out driver next day. Don't do it again.

Few weeks later, driver faces same circumstance. This time he says no. Chewed out by dispatch, subsequently given horrid runs, no miles.

This is a lose/lose situation and it happens CONSTANTLY around here. What do you do? Well, he quit and went on his own but it's a sad situation, that's for sure :biggrin_25513:

:biggrin_2554:I have been driving local for the last 2 years, but the work is gone, so if I have to go back on the road its 100% legal.
