Thanks you all for the "infro" After all these years all I try to do is the right things all ways. The company that I have been with for the last 3 yrs has been good to me ! But do I "trust" them? Not as far as I can Throw them!!!! Its kind alike "The Devils Advocate" whats really behind those smiling faces at those Co's. When I give them notice "2" weeks and take the truck back were they Want it! I can walk away with my head held high with not athing to worry about!!! I'm heading out today after 5 days of home time with my wife and dog. They are behind me all the way on makeing a change or staying were im at!!! I will let you all know what I did when I head home, Thxs

Anytime you turn a truck in; you better consult with your fleet manager, not your dispatcher. When you turn it in; make sure it is clean (even if you received it dirty) and take a photo of it on their lot. Then get a signature stating it was parked as requested by the company and acceptable as a turn in truck.

When I was with M.S. Carriers, a driver quit when he was at home. He drove M.S.'s truck down into a West Virgina mountain logging road and into the woods as far as he could go; then made sure it was buried in muck and could go no further. Then he spent all day filling the cab with large stones (bunk and all up-to the windows which he left rolled down. It took them 2 days with two wrecking trucks to get the stones out and the truck back up to the road. He was probably put on the non-rehireable list.

You turn a truck in to the place you are told to, always get everything in writing . . everything. Their instructions on where to turn the truck in. Their sign off that the truck is in acceptable condition and was tuned in at the correct location. Double dot the 'i's and double cross the 't's.
