The trainer I had mounted it with a ant. mounting bracket on the inside on the black handle along the dash on the passenger side. He had one of those little black ants. It actually worked pretty slick, stays out of the elements and I didn't notice any signal issues with it at all. He said in the past he'd have to replace that thing almost yearly when he mounted it out side. Just a thought for anyone, I plan on doing the same myself here shortly.

I have mine mounted on a small "L" bracket and I attached it too the passenger side roof marker light. It's above the window now and doesnt distort the marker light either. Reception is much better!
