My wife and I are going to have to go through company-sponsored training. Would Stevens be a good fit for us? Do they have good team miles?

Stevens is a great place to start your driving career, whether single or team. Keep in mind you will both go thru training separately... different trainers once you get on the road.
There is a growing emphasis on true teams at Stevens, but in the past I've seen complaints on this forum regarding the ability to keep moving. I think others (that are team drivers) can give you more accurate information in this regard.
However, even if you drive for Stevens for a couple years, you will gain valuable and lifelong experience that you can take with you, no matter where you drive.
    Good luck.

    Dahmer8afew and TRKRSHONEY Thank this.

Stevens is not at all set up for team driving!!! Hubby and I have teamed for the last 2 years. I rode with him a year and a half before going thru Stevens school to get my CDL, and I will say that there training is excellent. Unfortunately, since they are primarily a training school, true teams get the 'scraps' when it comes to loads. You either get the short runs that a trainer 'can't be bothered with', solo runs, or the ones that are picking up so late there is no way to make on-time delivery. Oh, and lest I forget, the 350 mile deadhead (empty) to pick-up, then run 650 miles.

I would definitely suggest going thru Stevens school, finish your one year committment to gain experience, then move on.

    Best of luck.
