    lol john. i belong to local 848 teamsters(currently unemployed) and we don,t get paid days off. don,t know what op is thinking lol

    Maybe he's hoping and wishing for something that just doesn't exist. I mean really, union, non union, self employed whatever you call it you work 5 days get 2 off......non paid. Thanks for understanding my humor. I too was a member of the teamsters back in '77-'80. Local 804 in NYC.

    Because there is no verification necessary to the question of whether you are a trucker or not and how long you've been in the game. A 6 year old can log in and lay claim to being a 50 year veteran driver...but it doesn't take more than a post or two for the inexperience to shine through their BS claim.

    Considering that at every other job except maybe the military, it is standard to work 8 hour shifts, and have 2 days off a week, it is kind of funny that they would say "earned." When something is contractual, it is not really "earned," it is more like "agreed to." Trucking is really more on the pre-industrial revolution work schedule.

    Crete is a good operation, and I would not get overly upset because of the wording on their website.

    dude, its the same everywhere , donr play stupid with the words they used, anywhere in the world, if you dont work why the #### should u get a day off.

    everywhere , for any job, they gonna tell you, you got week end off, or you got a day off a week, but OFF COURSE you have to work the rest off the week to earn it lazy a.ss
