Experience with YRC ( includes YRC, New Penn, USF Reddaway and Holland

I'm thinking if this keeps up much longer I'm gonna have to go else where. My friend works for a contractor at FedEx Ground and told me I could run teams with him for a while if I wanted. No benefits but the trucks are brand new and pays 1300 a week. He said it doesn't slow down much either. Right now they are getting really busy he said. Easy money so I might just do it. If I get laid off I will for sure.

I spent almost 8 hours in the yard @ 309 today training for proper snow chain procedures. 10 of us were in the class and was the easiest money I've made in a while. Talked with my TM the other day and he explained to me that the freight levels have not dropped. The company is playing with the numbers for the sake of the lenders. He said the larger profit we show the lower interest rate the lenders will give us.
