Yes DL550CAT that is why and the only time I do it...when It's necessary! Mud mostly and If (x#1) had ever been In It he would know how to get It done....Actually at my company we don't set up green drivers in the spring/summer..we let them loose In the winter when it'd easy to drive around....

I did not say that it did I said it could. And yes that is what can happen with jake shifting. You have a massive amount of air in a stream going through the ATA head for the combustion chamber and all of a sudden it has no where to go except back where it came from. Which is where? through the turbo. And yes you can here it, espicially if you have out side air cleaners.Last edited: Oct 23, 2012

If you're pulling hard on a hill and jump out of the throttle too quickly it will do that without having the brake on. Unfortuneatley there's nothing you can do but slow down to granny gear before the hill and spin out before the top.
On our FLD it blows the silage off the intake in front of windshield along with the whoosh.
