I see alot paying around 40k+ but all I personally want is around 2k take home a month ,could I call them up and say id work for less?
Seems like a good way to increase my chance of being exployed
is it possible to undercut local jobs?

Seriously. I'd think anyone worth working for wouldn't hire you just on the fact that you apparently have no value on self worth.

I am going to go out in a limb here and suggest that McManly is some clown trying to yank everyones chains... probably one of those CB cowboys too that just throws stuff out their to amuse themselves...
So far I know of three threads he has started asking the following questions -
How do you spank your monkey on the road
Can I get a job if I just got my drivers license (not CDL mind you, just regular class D license)
And now this one...
Is there anyone who takes this guy seriously?LGarrison Thanks this. -

if I'm competing for a job with some gu and were exactly the same except he has 5 years exp and I only have one theyre gonna choose the other guy but if I offer to work for less they might choose me instead of hom -
I would think that any non union LTL would love to hire you.

are you that desperate for a job.
2k BEFORE taxes don't even pay the bills. -

Not going to help you get employed. Trucking carriers are more concerned with experience and safety history than saving a few bucks on one driver. They also don't want to have a driver out there who may become "disgruntled" and make an Unfair Pay Practices claim against the carrier. They could be on the hook for much more in health and liability insurance premiums than the potential savings may prove to be worth.
Lilbit Thanks this.
