So I've seen a few guys over the last year that mostly were happy with Holland Enterprises. Is this still the case. I have been driving buses the last 5 years but still have the CDL A and drove heavy haul/reefer for about ten years before that. Im in the Bellingham/Blaine area.. whats the latest.. thanks :)

Stay away marten their turn over rate high. Sliding pay scale force per diem plus they will charge u for per diem. All their freight regional rail. They lost p&g due to putting loads on the rail when p&g says don't. Marten out mondovi wi

Thanks for the reply. Looked at Marten, but that whole per diem was a scam back when I was trucking several years ago, and now it seems to have caught on about everywhere. Looks like Marten is out. Thanks

Im doin' good at Marten. As for per diem, sooner or later most companies will be doing it. I just started my 5th year here. One sucky thing I don't like is we do alot of overnite runs, but my paychecks are good.

Most crappy companies will be forcing per diem maybe and Marten qualifies for that. I don't know of any good companies that force it.

What's wrong with Ludtke? I see their trucks all the time, but that's about all I know of them. A friend of mine knows the Ankers pretty good and seems to like them. Otherwise if you're looking for any other local OTR carriers, I believe you need to speak punjabi in that area lol.

I've seen Holland trucks parked over at Yorky's pretty often so I think you wouldn't have trouble making it back this way.
