Not exactly clear when reading this thread, but this happened yesterday.
I went by there going EB on 70. It didn't look good.
Couldn't see much, that's an area where the median is really wide.
The News Story does say there was Ice, just saying..
At the time I went by, there was No Snow or ice to be found anywhere on the road.Last edited: Oct 27, 2012

Well let's be thankful that everyone made it out...and there was no fatality involved especially when a truck burns to the ground...it could have been much worst.

Snow parking lot....

Drove by there last night, they had everything cleaned up except the Dart truck. Crossed the divide in Mt. tonight, lots of big white fluffy stuff falling out of the sky

Looks like UPS rear ended the black century, which caused a chain reaction when fed ex crawled up his butt along with the others. When my speed changes by 15+ points quickly, I holler on the radio about it, fog or not. Not that it matters anymore, hardly anyone uses the radio now.
lv gn Thanks this. -
pretty Embarrasing to see a bunch of Paid drivers all tagled up in that mess with no 4-wheeler to blame. I bet no-one was following too close....
(Allegedly) At least no serious injuries.Travelinman Thanks this.
