I need some advice on choosing who to work for. I have three pre-hires after my CDL school is over. I need some feedback on these company's please. Here are the three:
1. U.S. Express
2. KLLM
3. Warner
I would really like the help in this matter.
Help with choosing my first company.

I have no first hand experience working for or with any of these companies, but I can tell you I have spoke to several unhappy USX drivers. Also talked to several who quit for USX. One guy quit trucking, only ever worked at USX for one year.
KLLM haven't heard much about
Werner - drivers appear happy but all that electronic logging must be wreaking havoc on their income. These drivers always seem to be in the biggest hurry, always pushing their truck to it's 65 mph governed limit even where they shouldn't be. See them in a hurry at truck stops too.Irishbloodtx Thanks this. -
Lots of the big companies are Switching to Elogs its not just Werner anymore.

KLLM has a big contract with Tyson.
If it were me, would choose KLLM.

Yeah I know they are, maybe Werner just has the leash set to strangle instead of a little bit of breathing room.

I read that they have faster drops and pickups because of the elec. logs. They dont have to wait for a fax to get you back on the road.

I wouldn't be too sure on that .. depends where you read it and who wrote it .. I can't see shippers going "uhoh, we better get this guy outta here fast cuz of his computer log!", they don't care. If it really needed to be delivered on time you really think they would use a mega carrier like that? Evidently it doesn't matter all that much if it's late ...

Thanks gokiddogo....

of those 3 i'd pick KllM...... Weiner treats drivers very badly. USX i don't know
Irishbloodtx Thanks this. -
I guess KLLM would be the top choice, IMO.
On the flip side don't limit yourself to 3 companies just because of a pre hire...Irishbloodtx and volvodriver01 Thank this.
