If they put in a sushi bar I might finally get my wife to ride with me, I've only been driving for 15 years and can't get her to go on a trip with me!!

Location, location, location. Put it where there are drivers needing to take their 34, like close to a big city. Easy to get into, plenty of parking, a decent, sit down and eat restaurant { not a chain place}, nice showers, REAL security, plenty of fuel islands, quick oil change & service shop, barber shop, no beer and whiskey sales, motel rooms. All that stuff is expensive, so maybe start small and expand as you see what works for your area.

I vote for Parking ! also some food that's good for ya not just chicken fried steaks ! also wifi that is not overly priced these places are making a killing off of something they have to have. all of the major truck stops have wifi already to run the pumps and so forth and yet they want to charge a small fortune to use it. profit is one thing rape is something else

Being in Canada you MUST have a Tim Hortons. depending we're you're location is maybe an easy in/easy out pull through parking area reserved for lcv combinations and super b's. Even some extra long spots for turnpike doubles. And FFS pave the lot, not a crappy dirt lot that becomes a mud pit in spring and has potholes you can break an axle in like the majority of Canadian truck stops. Fuel pumps that the printer and card readers actually work. In fact just go to any Husky Travel Centre and do everything opposite to them!

Cigar lounge. Complete with rich red leather overstuffed chairs and couches and dark wood paneling and floors. Also an area with workstation desks and comfortable chairs where one can use their computer without someone looking over their shoulder.

Oh yea. Put in a huge parking lot so you can look out there, see 100 trucks parked.

Then a second window looking into the restaurant so you can see the 3 drivers actually in there that you are making money from.

you don't think parking is an important factor ?? local driver and park at terminal every day?? parking is one of the most critical factors in the industry at the moment.

Hi Agree 100% with you! If people park in your parking lot and you have an interesting spot to visit i`m sure the people walk-in!
Easy way-in and safe way-out i think is the most important part of the trucker lounge.
Thank you guys for your help anyway!!!
