    Actually we have a new pay rate taking effect. From what i understand for new student driver grads we start out with 34 cpm then get .02 more in 3 mos and another .02 at 6 mos. If we are accident and ticket free we get another .01 cpm in a quarter. After 6 mos we start out making raises for doing good. So far I'm up to 35 cpm and I've been there for almost 3 mos. I think my next paycheck should increase to 37 cpm. then at 6 mos I'll be at 39. we have the potential of making 44 cpm which thier saying a level 10 op is making or someone who has been there for over 5 yrs. I started out making 33 cpm when I got my truck. Every quarter after six mos we earn points for credentials (twic, haz, passport), driving miles MT and loaded (MT miles earn less points), on time deliveries and so on. If we stay above our level pay in the quarter then we'll get a raise, neauteral has no raise and if we fall below our level two consecutive quarters then we drop a pay grade. Their calling it the your choice pay plan cause you have the choice of getting the raise or loosing you pay.

    I am doing a reset at home right now and am supposed to deliver a load near Trenton,NJ in the morning. Not even sure anyone will be there and I don't want to have to ride out the storm in my truck. I am in a bit of a quandry at the moment, I am home now and I am supposed to head more into the storm, the joys of trucking I guess.

    the wind has picked up a bit, but not much going on yet. Overnight is when we are supposed start feeling Sandy a lot more. Good timing getting out of Wayne, going to be mess around there for at least a week.

    Hey, Ethan!

    I guess if I can get some help with tarping (I hope that's the right word :)) I don't think it would be a problem for a female like me. But like you had mentioned, if you can't get any help... then it won't get tarped. Lol.

    Also, you had mentioned about offering some help... Nothing to worry 'bout that! Lol. I'm not that kind of gal. :) I guess with my experienced in the military... working with the guys made me ready for the trucking industry. They were like little and big brothers to me. :) I wish once I'm in (driving), I can encounter some nice/helpful guys like you because I'm sure I'm gonna need all the help I can get. :)
