Huge storm coming! Anyone one have any driving advice besides " dont do it."

im supposed to leave central jersey 130am head over the gwb and run 95 to providence. the boss says jus wake up and see what its like out there. theyre supposed to close bridges on case to case descion. so if the bridges are closed im jumping back into bed and going to sleep. i got clutch foot anyways and another day resting my foot would be nice. if i do go in im asuming on my way back in, in the afternoon will suck even more if bridges are closed. i wont be able to get back. so i may just avoid the whole situation

 

transam trucks going to NJ have been told to park and those are all meat loads

 

NYC is shutting down public transit at 7 pm tonite stay in bed

 

Well sitting about 40 miles off the coast line with a load delivering tomorrow 11 am in Newport News, VA. Not exactly where I want to be right now lol. My first week out solo and I get a flat on the trailer for my very first load and now I am sitting in the direct path of that monster Hurricane lol. Will be my first hurricane anyway haha. At least I got parked at a T/S and I can go inside if it gets to hairy out there. Right now its just a little windy and a little rain as of right now. Suppose to hit land over night though so could be an interesting night of no sleep. Guess I will have to give the receiver a call in the morning to see if they are even there lol. At least I am sitting on a heavy load so that will help. Anyone else out here stay safe!
