With all the warnings we have today its shocking the amount of people/ediots that will be on the road traveling around. No load or job is worth risking your live over when you know the danger is there and comeing. Hope everyone stays safe but for the ones who get caught and in trouble you have no one to blame but yourself. Not directed to anyone here just my general thoughts of the people out in storms that have no business out there.

Just heard on tv, CT will be closeing all roads to truck traffic later today. So if your in the area get out quick or find a spot to hunker down for a day or two.

I don't know if this has been posted yet. The NY and NJ transit system was shut down last night. The Holland and Battery tunnels will be shut down at 2pm today. A lot of buisnesses will be shut today and tomorrow and maybe longer. Stay out of this area for the next few days.

Parts of Long Island are already flooded. Be careful, drivers. NYC is apparently a mandatory evacuation zone.

The storm is turning like they said. It looks like it will center on north/central Jersey now. The only travel up there should be getting out of dodge westbound. Starting this afternoon I wouldn't even consider I-95 MD to ME. If you are stuck in the area find some high ground behind a shopping center or another solid building.

Right now the snow has started and looks like southern WV, southwest VA, southeast KY for now. I-81 will have heavy rains from TN on up and it looks like I-77 Wytheville, VA to southern WV will be snow.

Well, I got unloaded and out of Maryland this morning - had to go north through Elkton because of the bridge restrictions. Currently sitting in a hotel in Manassas, VA; going to sit things out and see where we stand tomorrow.

I just got a text message from a trustworthy person saying that trucks are now banned from PA highways. I will trust but verify if I can.
