That ##### don't make no sense Mattaponi, them two was told that the roads was going to be closed at 4!! Now all Bridges in the NYC area except for the Staten Island Bridge will be closed, how in the hell is guys going to get to Mass if they can't go thru CT, or Cross over the Hudson??

I was beyond disgusted when they gave me a Jessup for later today, I'm like "Yo, do your realize the weather situation right now up here and what's it going to be in Maryland tonight" no response.. luckly i called the broker and he called the shipper and said i could come in early!! If it won't for that i wouldn't of never got loaded, they closed at 3, the appt was for 4!! Also told him that 95 was shut down in Maryland for the next 12-24 hours and i'll let him know when i could get down there..

Them guys suppose to be Veterans they should know of the impending road conditions and so on, The elder of the two have been in Waynesboro for over 9 years now so what i've been told, so i know this is not his first battle with a system like this trying to move freight up and down the seaboard... I was very close to blowing my cool, i usually don't argue with no one but i was seconds away from blowing a gasket!!

Yo i like them two because you can work $#!% out with them, but they do some of the most mind-blowing things at times!!!

    Hawk,
I understand the importance of moving freight, making money, not pissing off shippers, etc. But I will utilize common sense when practical, and when one knows of impending hazards, well it's a no brainer. Regarding Tuesday, should be interesting, all bridges/tunnels in and out of NY, Long Island, etc. have been closed, not to mention I-95 in Ct. closed to all non-emergency vehicles, and Pa. speaks for itself. Be safe all.

i got told to wake up early and head back up to arcade, ny deliver in hagerstown as soon as i can , then grab a backhaul back to arcade....i toldthem i could get there when i can which is afternoon, no response, no way am i going to be driving if there is 70 mph gust of wind empty, and i dont want to know what thats like for a bobtail. i'll give it a try, but if the road gets shut down or blocked, i'm parking it and if those two got a problem, then i'll tell them no frieght is worth my life or anyone else's, and after 17 years of doing this, i have a prettty good idea of what i can or cant do, and i prefer to err on the side of safety. i think tim or mike needs to educate those two about expecting drivers to drive through areas that are shut down.

Snow, in WV for sure, be careful out there, a little early for this crap. NJ and others hd their ### kicked the first time a storm hit NJ since 1938, and for more worthless info, the last time wall street closed for weather was in 1888?

The last time wall street closed for weather for more than one day was 1888. There was a single day closure in the 1980s sometime

Been looking at some maps of the devastation and identified several areas where I've delivered in NJ. Don't think we'll be in that area for awhile. I hope everyone gets the help they need.
