One other thing that I forgot to mention, if you have to stay at the econolodge in Richmond Indiana, I noticed after about two days one of the piercings in my ear had got a bit inflamed, some peroxide and buying my own pillow solved it....but I have never had any trouble till my head was on that pillow, nor any since, so best to bring your own pillow, I don't think they clean enough at that hotel. (On a side note, I had intended to bring my own from the get go, but I totally left it in the car at the bus station).

Sanitation at cheap hotels has always been a problematic, so that is hardly unique to England.

I would recommend Central then. Plus they are just down the road from you. They have a terminal with a school right there in Conley, GA (Southeast Atlanta). So your husband is ok with you driving solo till you get experience? There are thousands of companies out there that would love to have a husband/wife team! I know for sure that a lot of them would make exceptions too. Is your husband that content with Kennesaw? Maybe he could take a leave of absence and you guys could drive together for another company until you have enough experience to go back to Kennesaw or wherever for that matter.

When I finally convinced my wife to get her license I had already had mine and been driving for quite a few years. We decided to go with Central Ref because even though they wouldn't let me train her, they let me at least ride together with her and her trainer. They made an exception for us and we only had to ride with a trainer for a little over a week. Of course Central had just opened its doors and policy was a little more lax but nonetheless they really value husband/wife teams and treat them like gold! Central always went above and beyond to help us with whatever we needed. This is the reason I never hesitate to recommend them to other drivers.

Anyway, your business is your business, I am just trying to offer some other routes in getting you out there. I would be very, very careful with England. They won't hesitate to smear your DAC when you want to leave!

Good luck to you and your husband in your endeavor! I believe once ya'll are out there together and running as a team, you will have the times of your lives! I always tell people that even though we made really good money driving team together, the memories we made were far more valuable and will last a lifetime!

If you need any help just holler....

chompi, you have been so wonderful with all the information you have provided me, i appreciate it soooooooo muuucccchhh!!! i did apply with Central today, i will give them a call tomorrow to see if they can take a look at my application and see what they say. yes my husband is ok with me driving solo, he prefers me be solo, so do i. but when i go to Kennesaw with him, we will run team. he loves his job at Kennesaw, he would leave to go where i go but i do not want him to do that, its been hard for him to find a good company where dispatch treat you like human beings. Kennesaw is one of those companies that you may possibly regret leaving. I will ask Central if my husband could train me if he applies with them. he is in very good standing with Kennesaw that they would hire him back, i just dont want him to go to the trouble of leaving and joining a new company. we have many good memories when i rode along with him with swift, the first place we went to when i got in the truck was vegas, they let us stay 2 days, it was so awesome, ive been to just about every state. thank you again for everything :)
