I was wondering about the transportation once I got to cartersville. Im going to be attendending the november 12 class, and my rear end in my pickup truck is making noises. Ii dont think i want to chance it breaking down on me. I can get a ride there, but once im there at the motel is transportation provided to terminal and back to motel everyday.

    Thanks

They have a minivan that they send with the students to go back in forth with. On the first day somebody probably needs to drive from the motel though, because they didnt send anyone last time, and the motel girl says they never do. lol

I can second that. I was in the class mid-september in c-ville. I had driven, and good thing too: i have heard the "shuttle" rarely makes it on the first day, so those of us who drove helped out with rides monday morning.

One of the instructors will give a student the keys to the van on the first day of class. If you need it, just ask.

You wont be able to get one at the school. I tried waiting to get mine until when i got there, and David told me that they just havent changed the email, but they dont have them anymore.

So i just went over to the Pilot thats near the school and got one pretty cheap. on the way to the school from the hotel, once you get off i75 at exit 296, turn right. The Pilot is right there.

Seems fairly disorganized to me that the shuttle doesn't arrive on the first day. What if you have a class where no one drove in? Or only one or two people brought their own vehicles? Millis really should be providing reliable transportation on EVERY day they expect you to be at school. Do they expect you to deliver your first dispatched load without a truck, too?

I haven't heard of any situation where students couldn't make it in on the first day due to lack of transportation. And I'm sure if you are that concerned, you could call the terminal and they'd get you your shuttle on the first day.

The first day. A bunch of students will be sitting in the lobby. The front desk will get a call from Millis telling the students to group and drive over in personal vehicles. There will be a few people with transportation. Not a problem just talk to the other students. After that they will give the keys to the van to one of the students and yall can share it from that point out.

Not a problem. Don't worry. If you bring a good attitude you won"t go wrong.

Get the laminated version. Its easier to use because its spiral bound, and it will last much longer. It will cost about $30 at T/A or Pilot.

I strongly agree with slowlane, laminated spiral bound is the best. Thats what I have and its very nice. also you can use dry erase marker on the pages to mark certain things if you want temporarily
