What's are pay for shipper delay? Been sitting 3hrs and still have trucks ahead of me.

 

I run for a month at a time and expect to be home once a month. Is it really that hard?

I'm having the same issues.....all day long I kept thinking, "Gee, I'm supposed to be able to pick up and deliver within 1-2 hours +/-, yet they can't seem to get me home on time given a 2 week notice."
I hope to be home tomorrow.....I hope........

 

Company driver, 7.50 an hour after the second hour.

 

I sit around every day wondering why it takes my entire 14 to do a load. Regardless of length, it takes the entire 14 8 out of 10 days.

 

Anybody else's qualcomm just take a dump on them,because of another update?

That's now considered driver error.

IT is no longer responsible for that, you should have been paying attention.

Ok, I guess this is mainly just to vent....I go to pick up a loaded trailer, do my pre-trip and it has a strip of tread missing down to to the cords. Ok no big deal call in for a fix. While I was waiting to ask if I can get it repaired in the lot, another Schneider driver comes in with an empty. I look at the tire and it looks smaller than the other one. I notice the other side and the same thing. I mention it to the driver and we walk up closer to the tire, not even legal tread depth. I know some people could care less about doing an actual pre-trip but at least check your tires. We are proffesional drivers, be a proffesional and not a steeringwheel holder.

 

It's a 53 foot trailer. It takes effort to walk that long of a distance.

 

That's one thing I don't miss one bit about SNI....too often, getting a trailer with issues, usually tires.

...and when did the hourly detention rate fall to 7.50??
