My Millis Transfer Experience Starting 9/19/11

Hello all, thank you for all the valuable information you all have posted. I am new and will start my class on Nov. 19 in Richfield. Have read over 400 pages starting with Dave B's first day (hope you are still a trainer and that I get a chance to meet you in person or best option get to drive with you for a few weeks while you share some of your home truckin' recipes!!! [swear I can almost smell them in the videos sometimes]). Anyone else going to the class on Nov. 17th? My name is Mike and I hope I get to meet many of the drivers that have posted on here.

My question is this, how does the company get Wisconsin drivers their CDL? This may also be a question for some other students in their own state that are like Wis. so far as the DMV does not test applicants to upgrade from permit to real CDL license, they rely on 3rd party testers. Is Millisan approved tester and then I take their paperwork to get a new license?

Millis doesn't do CDL testing. You will have to go the third party route.

 

In the Badger state your Trainer will take you to Richfield Terminal. The Tester will meet you there and you will take the test at the terminal.

 

well down to my last 4 weeks ....... passed all the test and got my temps today still not sure how many will be in my class but still looking forward to it all! lol !

 

As much as I wanted to go with Millis, due to $$$ at the current time; I have to go with CRS. They were both my first choice and I was acccepted to both, the $$$ upfront and the 48 states were really what made me choose CRS over Millis. I did enjoy reading this information and hope to still meet some of the posters while out on the road. Be safe and stay happy!!!
