I would not apply for any job without a resume. I guess that's one of the reasons I've been promoted to management positions so quickly at so many of the jobs I've held. Shrug.

Miles are good, I have about 2900 for this week starting Sunday....Plus the weight pay it will be a darn good paying week.
The weight pay for the 2 Florida runs i have will be about 400 bucks plus my mileage pay.

I like short day runs too.....400 to 500 or so miles plus weight pay and back home that night....good paying day!
They come up with the weight pay deal because we run a bunch of NC to GA and TN routes that you can turn in a day.

Does your company have any official logos that they could incorporate into the ad? With Craigslist, it's tough to differentiate between a reputable or not reputable ad. A logo or a photo of one of the trucks might help.

As a side note, I "responded" to an ad that sounded promising, but IIRC wanted your driver's license and Social Security numbers. I sent an inquiry to the e-mail address provided telling them about my experience level and that I was interested in the position and that I would provide the DL and SS numbers at the time of a personal interview. I'm sure most of you can guess what didn't happen...

I don't think anyone was implying that your companies ad is a scam. It's just that Craiglist runs rampant with ads from tooth brushes to cars to jobs that are scams. There is alot of ads that are on the up and up, I just think your companies ad could look more professional and less like a typical ad that may or may not be a scam.

It sounds like a great gig. I'd be all over it but Atlanta is too far away.

CL can indeed be good...but ya gotta fish through the garbage. Much like searching for a car on the site.

Thanks for all the input everyone!

We have a guy lined up to send to get his updated medical card and do his drug test.
I was hoping to get him trained this week but it looks like next week by the time all the paperwork is finished.

Just turned a 1700 mile FL trip....off to do another FL trip starting in Mobile then running across I-10 and down.
    Good week,about 3100 miles.

    Have a good week drivers!
