I've seen all the other posts. Every company has drivers with bad experiences. A couple years ago I'm not sure I would have tried to recruit anyone. I would recommend working here now though. I think they had a rough patch like most companies when the economy tanked and had to make adjustments that weren't always driver friendly. That's definitely changing. They are making good progress in the right direction with the things that matter to me like pay and home time. They have a commitment to growth and sustainability so they'll be around for years to come. I worked here a few years ago. Left for better pay and found it, but lost too much home time. I ended up back and glad I have. There are new faces and people in new positions and it all seems to have been positive.
It's flatbed work and a lot of drivers try it and quit because they don't like the work. We tarp a lot but if you stick with it, learn as much as you can from other drivers, you get fast at it and don't work too hard doing it.
The new pay package with the bonuses has increased my monthly income about $250 on average just doing what I always have. If I could learn to gain a little more fuel mileage, like a couple tenths in mpg, I could make more. The company has also committed itself to safety and with the E-logs you'll never be asked or pushed to run illegal. And they do a good job dispatching you so you can stay legal and turn the miles. I don't think there is perfect truck driving job but this one has been working well for me and my family.Weeble Kneeble Thanks this. -
How come they use elastic rope, instead of bungee cords?
-
I don't honestly know why they made the decision to use the shock cord. I like using it. If you set it up on your tarps right it makes the job go very fast. When you might be tarpping twice in a day speed is a necessity.

Fuel?
Mileage?

The web site is nice but lacking the specific information.
Thanks! -
I know their pay is low for someone starting out. A former aquaintantce was with them. He liked it but they paid too little per him. On the flip side, their safestat is outstanding or used to be.

Can someone tell me if they hire from all 48 states?

They are solid and legit they treat drivers with dignity respect and you earn a great income..I left dry van after 9.5yrs... I love the workout you get from securing and tarping. The miles are there and soare the bonuses. Onbe the time I sit is to get 34hr restart..Hometime like clock work...They care and are extremely honest. If you dont know how to do something they will teach you

Fuel bonus starts at 6.5mpg you get .005 for every tenth mpg there up to .03/mi.
CSA( Safety Bonus) .02/mi easy to obtain, the easiest way to lose it is set off rollover alarms.
Production Bonus (based on miles for the month) 10,500=.01/ 11,500=.02/ 12,500=.03
Mileage is .32-.35
Flat rates for Short Hauls under 150mi.
Tarp $30
$25 per load going in to Canada
They do have layover pay but you'll probably never get it because you don't sit and wait for loads. If a load is 5 miles away and won't be ready until tomorrow you'll go after the load that's 150 miles away and ready now kinda thing.
I've heard the mileage pay is low for flatbed too but no mileage pay is going to pay if your not driving miles. They'll run you miles. They use E logs and are doing a good job of maximizing your hours since they can see real time what you have before they put a load on you. -
