I was with Prime from '02 to '08. the only bad thing about them is 8 to 12 weeks on the road.

I think you are setting your sights to high. You will be lucky to get 400-500 the first 4-6 weeks while training, and your food on the road will come out of that

I agree with pinball. I got $90/day in training. When I went on my own two weeks later, I was lucky to get $400/week because they don't run you hard your first month at my company. They want to make sure you know what you're doing before giving you a lot of work.

Roehl. You won't get rich, but you probably won't get screwed either.

Training pay is $455 a week at FFE while your with the on the road trainer. The good thing about FFE is there is no payroll deductions for school. After the year is up its forgiven in its entirety. You also get a $1000 bonus after your first year. Its split into 2 payments, but if you stick it out it's yours.

I completed my training at the academy today. Tomorrow it's off the DPS for my CDL then Lancaster for orientation and then I hit the road for 6 weeks. Made a 97 on my road eval here so I'm pretty happy about that.

That's a hell of a slogan. I can see that on the back of their trailers now.....

Right now its "the be home more, take home more carrier"

Its true but you gotta choose one or the other. I'm at a medium. I take home plenty and I'm usually home a week every month.

Nooooo....I like "You won't get rich, but you won't get screwed" better. Makes more of an impact than even "Lease. Train. Drive. Team. Fold. Spindle. Mutilate"
