Probably not hair. Everyone is required to test your urine. You don't EVER want to test positive. It will go on your record for 10 years. If you you are worried about testing positive you don't need to be a truck driver.

I worked for western express on a dedicated route my dispatchers name was brian w. He was a liar. I drove around 3000 miles per week i was only late if i was sent a load that was already late never my fault then i was trying to get home after being out for 4 weeks and daddy was having surgery and they said ok. Then on day i was suppose to get home they sent me in oppisite direction from home after fussing all night dear mr brian sent me towards house and when i delivered load he called me and said the route was being down sized and i was being took off it and my new dispater jennifer would contact me to go on home so i started home soon she contacted me said you cant go home i said oh yes i am ops manager called me and we worked it out but i quit and went to another co i turned there truck in and on my record they put termination haha cost them 30,000 for slandering and lieing in court the settled so haha. I wouldnt recommend anyone to work for them liars if you love your family

I used to have trk# 9645. I loved my little blue truck!!! It sat down on 65 but still had pretty decent power. Other than a weak alternator, I was good to go. As far as DM's go, I had Ms. L..... I liked her, she was good to me. Afterwards, I had Sean. We had trouble in the beginning, but after a "stern talking too," and face to face "discussion," we didn't have many more problems.... As far as the flatbed training, it could be better but they have limited equipment to use. Andy and Tim will tell you that out of their mouths. I had never had any issue with my pay, all my tarp pay, multi-stop, etc was on there. They are a second chance company, so the DM's put up with alot of ########## that almost no other company wants. If you have to sit around, you're still getting paid $375/wk while you're waiting... I actually had to wait myself but I just fought through it and hit the ground running when I got my truck. All the issues they have, they're currently making corrections on that. Including being more picky on the drivers they hire, better equipment, hometime, etc. The flatbed trainers are Andy and Tim. They will tell you like it is and are very blunt guys. If you ever have any questions about your load, they're phones are on 24/7. Is Western express at the top of the food chain...... Not by a long shot, but if you wanna work for a company where you know your flatbed trainers have your back as long as you do what you're supposed to do, then western express is a darn good place. I recently got out of trk# 2381, to take a local gig; otherwise, I would still be there.....

A little bit of advice...... If you stay in far away from civililation like W. Bumpbump, TX or My Compass Doesn't Work, NM, This company IS NOT FOR YOU.... They don't have a lot of freight going that way..... I wrote this because, I've heard a lot of guys getting mad (and rightfully so), about not getting hometime. IMHO, find a company that you see alot running near your area.....
